Central Railway, AC Local: AC local trains have increased on Central Railway, what will the new schedule be like?

Central Railway has given good news to local passengers suffering from the summer heat. The number of AC local trains on Central Railway has increased.

The temperature has been increasing for the past few days. It is being reported that the temperature in the state has crossed the 40-degree mark. In the month of March itself, it was seen that the lives of citizens were being affected by the heat. The Central Railway has given good news to the local passengers who are suffering from the heat of the summer.

The frequency of AC local trains will be increased and will be implemented from Wednesday, April 16. Currently, there are six AC local trains on the Central Railway. Out of these, five local trains complete 66 journeys in a day. One local train is reserved for maintenance.

As the administration has decided to use underslung AC local trains in its fleet, the number of local trains will increase to seven. As a result, the number of trips will also increase. Therefore, from Wednesday, the number of AC local trains will increase from 66 to 80. Passengers will get relief as these trains will be operated between CSMT and Badlapur.
