A severe accident has occurred on the Pune-Satara Highway. Information has been received that 7 people have been injured in this accident. The accident occurred when a container lost control and collided with five vehicles in the Velu village area on the Pune-Satara Highway.
The incident occurred around 9 in the morning. A container heading from Pune towards Satara collided with three motorcycles, a pickup tempo, and a truck. After the collision, the container and pickup tempo overturned. The police immediately rushed to the scene. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
After the accident, there was a traffic jam on this route for some time. The police used cranes to move all the vehicles off the highway and restored smooth traffic flow. The accident caused significant damage to the vehicles.
