Bacchu Kadu has once again taken an aggressive stand in support of farmers’ loan waivers. Beginning today, Kadu has launched a ‘7/12 Kora Yatra’, a seven-day foot march covering a distance of 138 kilometers across Vidarbha.
The yatra is named after the 7/12 land extract, a key agricultural land ownership document in Maharashtra, symbolizing the plight of farmers burdened with debt and seeking relief.
The padyatra will begin this morning at 11:00 AM from Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh's birthplace in Amravati district, and proceed toward Chilgavhan village in Yavatmal district. During the march, Bacchu Kadu is expected to hold meetings in various villages, directly interacting with farmers and listening to their grievances.
Kadu’s initiative aims to draw the state government's attention to the urgent need for loan waivers and comprehensive support for farmers struggling under mounting financial pressure.
The 7/12 Kora Yatra has generated significant interest in political and farming circles alike. The seven-day march is not only expected to amplify the voice of distressed farmers but also escalate pressure on the state agriculture ministry to act decisively.
