(Ajinkya Naik MCA President) Ajinkya Naik has been elected unopposed as the President of the Mumbai Cricket Association in the MCA elections. The election for the MCA President and Vice President is scheduled for November 12, but the President has already been elected unopposed.
BJP leader Prasad Lad had also filed a nomination for the presidency, but he withdrew his nomination at the last moment. Senior NCP leader Sharad Pawar and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also met. It is reported that they discussed the election during this meeting.
With all candidates for the presidency withdrawing their nominations, Ajinkya Naik's path has cleared, and now elections will be held for the positions of Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, and Treasurer of the Mumbai Cricket Association.
