Delhi University: Threat email to 2 colleges of Delhi University; Police reached the spot

Delhi Colleges: After receiving a threat email to Ramjas and Deshbandhu College, the campuses were evacuated.

Ramjas College and Deshbandhu College of Delhi University have received bomb threats. Threat emails were sent to these two colleges. After receiving the email, the Delhi Police bomb squad and dog squad reached the spot and both campuses were evacuated.​

The police evacuated all buildings of both colleges and inspected every corner. However, no suspicious items or explosives were found during the search operation. After a call was received at the police control room, the college administration evacuated the entire campus. Police teams conducted inspections, but nothing was found.​

The investigation into the threatening email is underway, and efforts are being made to identify the sender. However, the IP address of the system from which the email was sent has not yet been found. This incident has created an atmosphere of fear among the students.
