Case Filed Against Bacchu Kadu and Hundreds of Activists

For the demand of farmer loan waiver, under the leadership of MLA Bacchu Kadu, Prahar organized a roadblock protest yesterday near Achalpur toll plaza in Amravati district. Protesters expressed strong dissent by burning tires on the road.

Previously, after conducting marches and hunger strikes to draw attention to farmer issues, Prahar has now started a protest by taking to the streets. Bachchu Kadu participated in this protest. Against this backdrop, cases have now been filed against hundreds of activists including Bachchu Kadu. Yesterday, Bachchu Kadu organized a roadblock protest in Amravati district for farmer loan waivers and other demands.

Criminal charges have been filed against Bacchu Kadu for protesting at the Nandgaon Peth toll plaza in Amravati. Charges have been filed for violating the police commissioner's orders, blocking the road, gathering a crowd without permission, obstructing the public's travel, and burning tires on the road. Charges have been filed against Bacchu Kadu and his activists at Nandgaon Peth police station as well as various police stations in rural areas. Bacchu Kadu has been charged under sections 126(2), 189(2), and 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act at Nandgaon Peth police station.
