Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Forts to Be Studied in Depth; Four Forts in Sindhudurg District Included

(Sindhudurg Fort) Today is the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. An atmosphere of enthusiasm is observed across Maharashtra and the entire country, with various programs being organized.

Shiv Jayanti is being celebrated with great enthusiasm at Shivneri Fort. In this context, it has been informed that a detailed study of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's forts will be conducted, including four forts in Sindhudurg district.

A detailed study of Sindhudurg, Padmadurg, Rajkot, and Sarjekot forts will be conducted. Minister Ashish Shelar informed that a study center will be established in Malvan under Mumbai University. It is reported that a fund of 50 lakh rupees has been sanctioned by the government for this purpose.
