Suraj Chavan and 11 Others Case File Following Violent Altercation in Latur

There was quite a commotion in Latur during the press conference of Sunil Tatkare, the state president of the Nationalist Congress Party. Activists of the Chhava organization protested by throwing cards, demanding the resignation of Agriculture Minister Manikrao Kokate while the press conference was ongoing. Following this, the Nationalist Congress Party workers became aggressive. The state president of the Nationalist Youth, Suraj Chavan, along with his workers, assaulted Vijay Ghatge, the state president of the Chhava organization. A fierce clash occurred between the activists of the All India Chhava organization and the Nationalist Congress Party.

In this context, it is reported that a case has been filed against Suraj Chavan and 11 others. A case has been registered at the Vivekananda Police Station in Latur, and two teams, one from the Vivekananda Police Station and one from the local crime investigation department, have been dispatched to search for Suraj Chavan.

It is reported that the Chhava organization has taken a stance that they will not withdraw the protest until Suraj Chavan is arrested.
