Devendra Fadnavis: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to start the municipal campaign on Saturday, first public meeting in Sangli

Mahayuti Campaign: The municipal election campaign will gain momentum from Saturday, with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis holding the first public meeting in Sangli.

In the municipal elections, 48 candidates, including Shobha Bondre and Anand Mane, have withdrawn, and the picture will become clear from tomorrow, Saturday. The grand alliance's campaign is starting, and state president Ravindra Chavan is touring Kolhapur. Office bearers and workers have made thorough preparations for the welcome. Chavan will visit Ambabai and conduct a foot march in the city and provide guidance.

The Chief Minister's roadshow in Ichalkaranji will start on Saturday afternoon from the statue of Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj. The route will be Shri Shivtirth, Shambhutirth, Mahatma Gandhi statue, Rajwada Chowk. MLA Rahul Awade provided this information. A meeting was held to comply with the model code of conduct. Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde will come for the campaign on January 7, and Ajit Pawar on January 9.

After the grand alliance seat allocation, the campaign has gained momentum. On Thursday, all candidates received election guidance at the hotel. The BJP has made the election a matter of prestige and has given micro-planning instructions to the workers. Congress-NCP will contest directly on 12 seats. After five years of being in power with consensus, the real battle will now begin. Voting will be on January 15 and counting will be on the 16th.
