The Directorate of Education has officially extended the deadline for online admission to Class 11 for the academic year 2025–26. Originally scheduled to end on June 3, the registration window will now remain open until 2:00 PM on June 5, 2025, giving students and parents additional time to complete the process.
This extension follows a new directive from the state government aimed at improving the online admission process, particularly for the in-house quota seats in colleges. The decision was made to provide families with adequate time to make necessary changes to school preferences within the in-house quota section of the admission portal.
The registration period, which began on May 26, 2025, was initially expected to conclude within a week. However, amendments have since been introduced to the earlier government resolution dated May 6, 2025, necessitating changes in the admission schedule.
The School Education Department has urged all prospective students and their parents to complete their registration at the earliest by visiting the official admission portal: https://mahafyjcadmissions.in.
