Road widening causes Dive Ghat closure
Appeal to use alternative routes
Traffic will be closed today from 11 AM to 2 PM
(Dive Ghat) Due to road widening, Dive Ghat is expected to be closed today. Traffic in Dive Ghat will be closed from 11 AM to 2 PM today. The road widening work is being carried out by the National Highways Authority of India under Package 6 from Hadapsar to Dive Ghat on National Highway No. 965, Alandi to Pandharpur Palkhi Highway, hence this ghat will be closed.
Vehicle owners are requested to use alternative routes and cooperate with the administration, as appealed by S. S. Kadam, Project Director, National Highways Authority of India, Pune, through a press release.
Drivers can use the alternative routes via Katraj-Bopdev Ghat (State Highway No. 131) to Saswad, Khedshivapur-Saswad Link Road to Saswad, Kapurhol-Narayanpur (State Highway No. 119) to Saswad, as well as Hadapsar-Uruli Kanchan-Shindwane Ghat (State Highway No. 61) to Saswad.
