(Earthquake) Tremors were felt for two consecutive days in Satara district. Information has been received that the tremor occurred at 4:06, and since the earthquake happened at night, an atmosphere of fear has spread among the citizens.

The epicenter of the earthquake is 49 kilometers from Satara, and the Koyna Dam is safe with no threat to the dam. The intensity of the earthquake has been measured at 2.2 on the Richter scale.

Due to the ongoing rain, there is a constant fear of landslides in the villages near the mountains. In this context, the administration has advised citizens to remain alert.
