(Election) Elections for 12 district councils and 125 panchayat committee members in the state will be held tomorrow, February 7, and counting will take place on February 9 with results to be announced.

These 12 Zilla Parishads include the districts of Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Pune, Satara, Sangli, Koya Pur, Solapur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Parbhani, Dharashiv, and Latur. In these districts, elections will be held for Zilla Parishad members as well as Panchayat Samiti members.

The district administration, police machinery, and election staff are seen to be ready for voting, and strict police arrangements will be deployed.
