Local residents are showing strong opposition to the demolition of the Elphinstone Bridge. It has been informed that the Elphinstone Bridge will remain closed from midnight tonight. The Elphinstone Bridge will be demolished to construct a new Elphinstone flyover and the Sewri-Worli Elevated Connector flyover in its place. Against this backdrop, the bridge will be closed for traffic from 11:59 PM tonight. New traffic rules have been implemented for this purpose.

Parel East → Prabhadevi / Lower Parel: Curry Road Bridge (07.00 – 15.00)

Parel / Byculla East → Prabhadevi / Worli / Sea Link: Chinchpokli Bridge

From West to East (West → East):

Dadar West → Dadar East: Tilak Bridge

Prabhadevi / Lower Parel → Parel / KEM / Tata Hospital: Curry Road Bridge (15.00 – 23.00)

Sea Link / Worli / Prabhadevi → Parel / Byculla East: Chinchpokli Bridge
