(Accident) A severe accident occurred between a truck and a bus on Samruddhi Highway. It is reported that the bus driver died in this accident and 21 passengers were injured. This accident of a private travels bus heading from Mumbai to Nagpur occurred near Lasur Station on Samruddhi Highway in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar at 3 AM on Friday.
While overtaking, the truck driver suddenly applied the brakes, causing the bus coming from behind to crash into the truck and the bus caught fire. The bus driver died in this fire and the injured were immediately admitted to the hospital. The police have now started investigating this accident.
