(Satara Doctor Case) The suicide case of a female doctor working at Phaltan Sub-District Hospital in Satara district has caused a stir across the state. A shocking aspect has emerged in this incident, as the doctor wrote the names of two individuals responsible for her death on her hand before committing suicide.
Before committing suicide, the deceased doctor had written a suicide note on her hand, in which she made shocking allegations. In that note, the doctor wrote, "PSI Gopal Badane repeatedly abused and sexually harassed her for five months, and police officer Prashant Bankar mentally tortured her." The female doctor has made serious allegations of sexual abuse and mental torture against these two individuals.
In the case of the female doctor's suicide in Phaltan, the SIT has again taken police custody of the suspects Gopal Badane and Prashant Bankar. Both suspects were taken from Kalamba Jail and presented in the Phaltan court, after which the court sentenced them to three days of police custody. As the investigation of this case is ongoing through SIT, SIT had requested police custody of both suspects.
