Ganesh Naik voted in Koparkhairane and has raised questions about the planning. Reacting to this, Ganesh Naik said, "Our name is not in the list. Trying to find out whether to vote or not. I am the MLA here, a state minister, and if this is the situation for us, you can imagine the condition of the general voter."

Along with this, he further said, "If your names are not on the voter list, then find them. Exercise the right given to you by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and show the power of democracy to the people with great impact. I believe the election machinery is inefficient. Your vote is important for the development of this city. So do not be swayed by anyone's bullying or money. The people of Navi Mumbai will not be swayed by money. There was an attempt at bullying, but the people have thwarted it." said Ganesh Naik.
