(Gateway To Mandwa Waterway) The inauguration of Navi Mumbai Airport by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled for today, October 8. Due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Mumbai, the waterway service from Gateway of India to Mandwa will be closed after noon, as per the information received.
Prime Minister Modi will visit Raj Bhavan and the Taj Hotel. Therefore, for security reasons, this transport will be kept closed, as informed by the Maritime Board. During this time, no water transport will be allowed in the Gateway of India area.
Strict security arrangements have been increased in this area. Orders have been issued to keep all passenger boat transport closed for the entire day.
