Torrential rain has been pouring in Solapur since yesterday. Heavy rain has been falling since midnight on Monday, causing immense damage to farmers' crops.

In the state, there has been cloudy weather with light showers for the past few days. Due to the rain last week, crops have been damaged in many areas. Flood conditions were created in some places.

There is heavy rain in Akkalkot, Barshi, and Mohol talukas of Solapur. A warning has been issued to the villages along the riverbanks. Against this backdrop, holidays have been declared for schools in the rural areas of Solapur district.

Due to continuous rain in Solapur district, holidays have been declared for schools. Holidays have been declared for municipal and district council schools in North Solapur Rural, Madha, Karmala, Mohol, Barshi, and South Solapur talukas. This decision was made due to heavy rainfall in Solapur district and was announced by the district administration yesterday.
