(Maharashtra Weather Update) Due to the heavy rainfall over the past few days, there has been significant damage to farmers in many parts of the state. Many villages are facing flood situations, disrupting daily life. For the past few days, there have been heavy showers along with cloudy weather.

The weather department has issued a heavy rainfall warning for Konkan, Central Maharashtra, and Marathwada until September 30. Citizens are advised to remain alert as there is a possibility of flood danger due to heavy rains in Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg districts, as stated by the State Emergency Operations Center.

If the heavy rain accompanied by stormy winds and thunder continues, it is expected that flood conditions may arise once again in many parts of the state. Today, the meteorological department has also issued a warning of heavy rain.

It is observed that the drizzle continues in Thane and Mumbai suburbs, and it is predicted that the intensity of the rain will decrease from Tuesday. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Raigad, Nashik, and Pune, and the intensity of rain remains in the dam areas of Pune.
