Flood conditions have arisen in many villages, disrupting daily life. Currently, the intensity of rain is increasing across Maharashtra, with rivers and streams overflowing in many areas. If the heavy rain accompanied by stormy winds and lightning continues, it is predicted that flood conditions may arise once again in many parts of the state.
Against this backdrop, heavy rain has been ongoing in Palghar district since yesterday. As a red alert has been issued for Palghar district today, the district administration has declared a holiday for schools and colleges in Palghar district. The administration has appealed to the public to only leave their homes if it is essential, otherwise, they should not go outside.
