Indefinite strike is being carried out by employees at Sevagram in Wardha. The indefinite strike by laboratory technician employees at Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Sevagram, Wardha, continues on the fifth day, demanding regularization, proper pay scale, and other benefits.

Employees have alleged that instead of the laboratory technician position mentioned in the recruitment advertisement, a 'junior' position was given, and the salary scale was not determined as per the advertisement. Member of Parliament Amar Kale visited the hunger strike site, listened to the protesters, and immediately called the district collector to resolve the issue through a government meeting.
