Kolhapur Ambabai Mandir: Main Idol Darshan Closed Today

(Kolhapur Ambabai Mandir) Large-scale cleaning and maintenance have begun at the Karveer Nivasini Shri Ambabai Temple. A team of 25 employees with state-of-the-art equipment will clean the temple premises for 8 days, and notably, on September 17, the sanctum sanctorum of the goddess will be cleaned, and on that day, devotees will not be able to see the original idol. The iSmart Focetic Company from Mumbai has taken the responsibility of cleaning the temple free of charge.

The cleaning team has arrived in Kolhapur, and in the presence of temple officials and managers, the machinery was worshipped, and the actual work has begun. All areas from the sanctum sanctorum to the temple premises will be thoroughly cleaned.

In the past one and a half months, devotees have made abundant donations at the feet of Ambabai, amounting to a total of 1 crore 56 lakh 84 thousand 533 rupees added to the temple's treasury. The temple administration has clarified that darshan will be closed on the day of the sanctum's cleaning. Devotees are requested to take note of this change.
