(Kolhapur) It is observed that the first meeting called by the District Collector in Kolhapur regarding sugarcane prices has failed. Raju Shetti has stated that we are not satisfied with the discussion in the meeting.
As no resolution was reached in the first meeting called at the Kolhapur District Collector's office, signs of the agitation intensifying are visible. It is anticipated that the conflict over sugar prices in Kolhapur district may escalate.
Raju Shetti has warned that not a single sugar factory will be allowed to operate from today, and the issue of sugarcane prices has heated up in Kolhapur and Sangli districts. Therefore, there is a possibility of the price conflict escalating in Kolhapur district.
