(Kolhapur) An incident occurred in Phulewadi, Kolhapur, where the slab of the fire station building collapsed while construction was underway. One person died and six were injured in this incident.
At the scene, machinery including JCBs was used to rescue the trapped workers. The injured were immediately admitted to CPR Hospital and are undergoing treatment. Fire brigade personnel rescued the workers trapped under the slab debris.
Police security has been immediately deployed at the scene. The accident occurred while the slab of the new building of Phulewadi Fire Station was being laid at night, and rescue operations began promptly upon receiving information about the incident.
