While performing e-KYC for the Chief Minister's My Beloved Sister scheme, a message stating 'This Aadhaar number is not in the e-KYC correction list' was causing doubt among beneficiary women. However, if this message appears, there is no need to worry, as it indicates that the KYC has been properly completed, the state government has clarified.
After the deadline of December 31, 2025, the e-KYC portal has been reopened, and the last opportunity to correct incorrect or pending KYC is given until March 31, 2026. In the past few days, due to the closure of the e-KYC portal or incorrect information, many women's KYC was pending. This led to an increase in complaints about Rs 1,500 not being credited to accounts, and protests were held in some districts.
Now, women who have already completed accurate KYC will see this message and will not need to do KYC again. The government has assured that eligible women will definitely receive the assistance amount. It has been revealed that those paying for KYC are being financially defrauded, prompting district collectors to issue a warning of strict action.
How to check and what to do?
Take your Aadhaar card to the Maha-e-Seva center or tehsil office. Contact Anganwadi workers. Correct any incorrect information. If KYC is proper, wait without tension. Hingoli District Collector Rahul Gupta has instructed the administrative machinery for corrections and to remain vigilant to curb fraud. This opportunity will benefit millions of women and the scheme will be successful.
