A worrying news has emerged for the millions of beneficiary women of the Chief Minister's My Beloved Sister Scheme, as the benefit for women who have not completed the e-KYC process and provided incorrect information will be stopped henceforth. Under this scheme, women receiving 1,500 rupees per month are required to undergo identity verification, and the primary deadline of December 31, 2025, has expired.

Beneficiary women should immediately visit the official portal ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in to complete the e-KYC process or correct errors. If the Aadhaar card is not linked to the bank account or if a family member is in government service/industry, they may be deemed ineligible. Contact the nearest Anganwadi or Setu center for assistance.
