Beneficiaries of the Maharashtra government's popular 'Ladki Bahin' scheme are concerned about the delay in the January installment. Although February has started, many women have not received the money in their accounts. Now the good news is that the delayed three installments (November, December, January) will be given together, with some receiving 1500 rupees and others 4500 rupees.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's government has launched a special campaign to expedite the implementation of the scheme. Women who have provided incorrect information in KYC will be verified in person by Anganwadi workers. Those found eligible will receive a lump sum of 4500 rupees for three months. Those who have not completed KYC or have errors will need to correct them first.

This will be a great help for women whose November-December and January installments are pending. Beneficiaries should visit dbt.maharashtra.gov.in to check their eligibility and status. Contact Anganwadi workers to participate in the verification process. The scheme is providing financial assistance to millions of women, so ensure your eligibility.

The government has clarified that this verification is necessary for transparency. Soon, money will be deposited into the accounts of all eligible women, and the scheme will become more effective.
