On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, the installment of Rs 1,500 for December was deposited into the accounts of beneficiaries of the beloved sister scheme. However, many women did not receive the money in their accounts. The main reason is said to be the incomplete KYC process. KYC was made mandatory to participate in the scheme by December 31. Even after that, some women who completed KYC did not receive the money because it was found in the investigation that the family's annual income was more than 2.5 lakh.

According to the criteria of the beloved sister scheme, the financial status of the family becomes clear after completing the KYC of the women's father or husband. If the income exceeds the limit, benefits cannot be received. Many beneficiaries did not meet the criteria even after completing the KYC. It was announced that those who have not completed KYC will be completely banned from the new financial year, but the payments have already stopped. This has increased dissatisfaction among women in rural areas.

There is curiosity about when the January installment will arrive since the December installment was deposited late. According to sources, this installment might be delayed and is likely to be deposited in February. It is understood that efforts are underway to distribute funds before the ZP (District Council) elections. Beneficiaries should verify their Aadhaar card, bank account, and KYC, otherwise, they will not receive future installments.
