Maharashtra Heavy Rain: District-wise Alerts Announced

The rain had taken a break for a few days, and now it seems to have started again. The intensity of the rain remains throughout the state, and the weather department has issued warnings for various districts. It appears that the rain has made a strong presence in most parts of the state.

In many places, due to heavy rain, rivers and streams are overflowing. It is expected that the intensity of the rain will increase further. Heavy rain is forecasted for today and tomorrow in Konkan and Western Maharashtra. The next 2 days will be extremely important, and the weather department has issued a warning for heavy rainfall. Citizens are urged to remain alert and take necessary precautions.

Today, a red alert has been issued for Palghar, Thane, Mumbai, Raigad, Nashik Ghat, Pune Ghat, and Satara Ghat, while an orange alert has been issued for Sindhudurg, Kolhapur Ghat, and Gadchiroli. Additionally, a yellow alert has been issued for Sindhudurg, Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Nashik, Ahilyanagar, Pune city, Kolhapur, Gadchiroli, as well as most districts in Marathwada and Vidarbha.
