An orange alert has been issued for Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Nashik, and Jalgaon. On Friday, heavy rain fell in many districts of the state, and heavy rain is expected in many places today as well, with a forecast of rough seas. Due to the possibility of high waves, instructions have been given not to take small boats to the sea and along the coast.
