The verdict in the Malegaon bomb blast case was delivered today after 17 long years. On September 29, 2008, the explosion near a mosque during the month of Ramadan shook the city. Six people were killed in this attack, and more than 100 citizens were injured. Against this backdrop, all the accused have now been acquitted. Tight security was deployed in the court premises.

After 17 years, the verdict of this case was delivered today in the special NIA court in Mumbai. Accused cannot be convicted solely on the basis of suspicion. Therefore, all accused are being acquitted, as stated by the court. Charges were filed against seven individuals, including Sadhvi Pragya Singh, Colonel Prasad Purohit, and Major Ramesh Upadhyay. The verdict was read by Judge A. K. Lahoti. Everyone was focused on the outcome of this bomb blast case.

Against this backdrop, Chandrashekhar Bawankule has reacted. Chandrashekhar Bawankule said, 'The verdict of the special NIA court in the Malegaon bomb blast case is not just a judicial decision, but it is an exposure of a long-running political defamation conspiracy. The court clearly noted that there is no concrete evidence behind all the allegations. But more serious is the fact that the Congress deliberately used the term “Hindu terrorism” in propaganda to malign the Hindu community and faith worldwide.

The Congress has committed an unforgivable crime by placing Hinduism, a symbol of humanity and tolerance for centuries, in the ranks of terrorists. Today, the court has revealed the truth, and now Congress should apologize to the Hindu community! Hindus have never been terrorists and will never be. Today's court decision has dealt a significant blow to those who defame Hindus,' said Chandrashekhar Bawankule.
