A massive fire broke out late last night at a godown located in the truck parking area near the APMC Market in Turbhe Sector 20, Navi Mumbai. The blaze engulfed the warehouse, which was reportedly used for storing plastic items, and quickly spread across the vicinity.

Eyewitnesses reported that the fire rapidly intensified, with flames visible from a significant distance. Preliminary estimates suggest that goods worth several lakhs of rupees have been destroyed in the blaze.

In a major loss, around 15 to 20 trucks parked near the godown were completely gutted in the fire. The intensity of the flames made it difficult to contain the blaze in the early stages.

Multiple fire brigade units rushed to the spot and launched extensive firefighting operations. As of the latest reports, the fire has been brought under control, though cooling operations are still underway.

Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have been reported in the incident. Authorities have confirmed that the area was largely unoccupied at the time of the fire.
