Taking serious note of the accident during the work of the Wadala-Thane-Kasarvadavali corridor Metro 4 project, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has dismissed the consultant company DB-HILL-LBG.
After this accident, MMRDA has decided to immediately cancel the contract of the consultant company and blacklist them. Along with this, the executive engineer related to the project has been suspended. Not only stopping at this, but two more officers have also been suspended. These officers include the superintendent engineer and the deputy engineer. Additionally, a departmental inquiry has been initiated against the chief engineer.
This action has been taken according to the clear orders of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Due to complaints and safety issues following the accident, MMRDA has taken strict measures, and further actions will continue to ensure the quality and safety of the metro project work, according to official sources.
