As concerns rise globally over a potential resurgence of COVID-19, particularly in countries like Hong Kong and Singapore, alarming news has emerged from Mumbai. Two suspected COVID-19 patients have died at KEM Hospital, prompting fears of the virus making a comeback.

The deceased include a 58-year-old woman and a 13-year-old girl, both of whom passed away on Sunday morning. The woman was reportedly admitted to the hospital with severe breathing difficulties.

However, the KEM Hospital administration has clarified that the deaths were not caused by COVID-19. Hospital officials stated that both patients were suffering from other underlying medical conditions, and there is no confirmation yet that the virus was the direct cause of death.

While these cases have sparked concern, medical authorities have urged the public not to panic. Officials emphasized that there is currently no indication of a COVID resurgence in Mumbai, though they continue to monitor the situation closely.
