Mega Block on Central and Harbour Line Tomorrow
Scheduled Block Announced for Maintenance and Repair Work
(Mumbai Local Mega Block) The Central and Harbour Railway have announced a scheduled block for maintenance and repair work on Sunday, which will affect the schedules of many local trains. According to the railway administration, important track and signal maintenance work will be carried out during this period.
There will be a block on the Harbor route between Panvel and Vashi from 11:05 AM to 4:05 PM. During this period, trains going from CSMT to Panvel and Belapur, as well as those returning, will be canceled. Additionally, locals on the Trans Harbor route between Thane and Panvel will also be suspended. However, services on the CSMT to Vashi and Thane to Vashi/Nerul routes will continue as usual.
In addition to Central Railway, Western Railway has also announced a block between Vasai Road and Virar. This block will be in effect from 12:15 AM on Saturday night to 4:15 AM on Sunday morning. During this time, trains on the slow track will be diverted to the fast track. Some locals will be canceled and some will run late. The administration has clarified that since this block is during the night, there will be no block on Western Railway during the day on Sunday. The railway administration has appealed to passengers to check their schedule before traveling.
