Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA Sangram Jagtap has reportedly received a death threat through a text message, triggering concern and prompting a police complaint.

According to initial reports, the threatening message was sent to the mobile phone of Jagtap’s personal assistant. The message contained a direct and alarming threat, stating: “I will finish Sangram within two days.”

Following the incident, a non-cognizable offense has been registered at the Kotwali Police Station. Authorities have initiated an inquiry into the origin and authenticity of the message, and further investigation is underway.

Sangram Jagtap, who represents the Ahilyanagar constituency, is a prominent leader in the NCP. The threat has raised serious security concerns, and party members have demanded swift action to ensure the safety of the legislator and his staff.
