(Leopard Attack) For the past few months, there has been an increase in leopard presence and attacks in the city. This has created an atmosphere of fear among the citizens. Against this backdrop, a meeting was held yesterday under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister regarding the increasing incidents of leopard attacks.

The government has decided to take strict measures to curb the growing terror of leopards and it has been stated that a demand will be made to the central government to move the leopard from Schedule One to Schedule Two of the Wildlife Protection Act.

A decision has been made to increase the number of cages to capture leopards, and orders have also been issued in this meeting to shoot the man-eating leopard on sight.
