Third Week of Parliamentary Session Begins Today

The third week of the parliamentary session is starting today.

(Parliament Session) The third week of the parliamentary session is starting today. It has been observed that proceedings have been stalled for the past two weeks. It is anticipated that important bills will be discussed in both houses today, and the government is likely to make efforts to get important bills passed.

The National Sports Administration Bill is included in the agenda of the Lok Sabha proceedings. It is reported that the government is keen to approve this bill by Monday, and Home Minister Amit Shah has proposed a resolution in the Rajya Sabha to extend the President's rule in Manipur for six months from August 18.

Last week, there were two days of discussion in both houses on the Pahalgam attack and the issue of 'Operation Sindoor'. It was observed that the proceedings of the Parliament have been almost stalled for two weeks due to the issue of special in-depth re-examination of the voter lists undertaken in Bihar.
