There is great anticipation among farmers regarding the 22nd installment of the Prime Minister's Farmer Honor Fund Scheme. This scheme, implemented by the central government, provides eligible farmers with an annual assistance of six thousand rupees, distributed in three installments of two thousand rupees each.
Previously, on November 19, 2025, two thousand rupees were deposited into the bank accounts of eligible farmers in the 21st installment. Although February has started, the 22nd installment has not yet been received, causing farmers to wait. According to sources, this time many eligible farmers are likely to receive four thousand rupees instead of two thousand.
This is especially for farmers who have completed the e-KYC process and corrected errors in their applications. Because in the previous installment, some beneficiaries did not receive the amount due to such complaints. The 22nd installment is expected to be deposited before the Holi festival, that is, before March 4, 2026. Although the government has not yet announced the exact date, beneficiaries are being urged to prepare.
Farmers who have not yet completed e-KYC will not receive this benefit. Therefore, go to dbt.pmfby.gov.in or pmkisan.gov.in and complete Aadhaar linking and KYC immediately. Help can also be obtained by contacting the helpline at 15526. Through this scheme, farmers receive financial support for agriculture and it boosts the rural economy.
