(Thane) Voting was conducted yesterday for 29 municipal corporations in Maharashtra. Voting started at 7:30 in the morning and voters were able to exercise their right to vote until 5:30 in the evening. Voting took place yesterday in these 29 municipal corporations: Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Solapur, Kolhapur, Ichalkaranji, Sangli-Miraj-Kupwad, Nashik, Malegaon, Ahilyanagar, Jalgaon, Dhule, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nanded-Waghala, Parbhani, Jalna, Latur, Amravati, Akola, Nagpur, Chandrapur, Ulhasnagar, Kalyan-Dombivli, Bhiwandi-Nizampur, Mira-Bhayandar, Vasai-Virar, Panvel.

A lot of chaos and commotion was witnessed in many places. Yesterday, a huge commotion was seen in Thane. It is reported that supporters of former Mayor Meenakshi Shinde and independent candidate Bhushan Bhoir clashed. It is reported that this commotion took place in Ward No. 3 in the Manpada area of Thane, and the commotion occurred over the snatching of EVM machines, creating a lot of tension as supporters of both candidates clashed with each other.
