Heavy rain with thunderstorms and lightning is ongoing in many areas. It was reported that the intensity of rain in Pune, Mumbai, Marathwada, and all districts of the state would decrease. It is predicted that the state will receive more than average rainfall, with rain expected in Konkan, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, and Vidarbha.

A low-pressure area has formed again in the Bay of Bengal, and it is expected to cross the coast between Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. As a result, rain is expected in Vidarbha from Thursday to Saturday.

So far, the state has recorded 120 percent of average rainfall, with the highest rainfall recorded in Dharashiv.
