(Raj Thackeray) Today is Balasaheb Thackeray's 100th birth anniversary. Against this backdrop, Raj Thackeray has tweeted. Raj Thackeray tweeted saying, 'Today is the 100th birth anniversary of the late Balasaheb. Many centenary years have been celebrated in history and will be celebrated, but for a person to remain in people's memory even when they are not alive, and for that person to continue shaping the politics and social affairs of a region even today is rare. This can probably only happen in the case of Balasaheb. And that's why I am fully confident that Balasaheb will remain in people's memory not just after 100 years but even in their bicentennial birth year. Only then, the Marathi person remembering Balasaheb should not be divided, defeated, oppressed, and silently enduring injustice.'

'Today, loyalty is easily sold. Principles are easily discarded, and politics has become entirely transactional. Success in politics today is measured not by the issues brought to the forefront or the intensity of regional and linguistic identities, but by the success achieved in electoral politics and the strategies used to achieve it. During Balasaheb's time, such expectations did not exist, and even if they did, he would have dismissed them. He himself was not enamored with power, but he found satisfaction in placing ordinary workers in positions of power. Power comes and goes. Today's rulers may be reduced to mere nameplates tomorrow, but very few can leave an impact that captivates generations. This impact was Balasaheb's strength and his legacy.'

'Balasaheb was visionary. His perspective still seems relevant today and will remain so in the future. That's why he will remain timeless. It is as true that we will never see talent like Balasaheb again as it is true that no one will be able to do politics like Balasaheb in the future. But his image will not be tarnished anywhere, and the fight he raised for the Marathi language and the Marathi people will continue to burn, and it is in the hands of Balasaheb's future generations to see this. And we will do it diligently, this is our promise to the Marathi people.' In politics, sometimes even Balasaheb had to take a flexible stance, but his love for the Marathi people never diminished even a bit; instead, it became stronger. These are the values instilled in us. I give my word again today that even if I take a slightly flexible stance in the drastically changed politics, it will never be for my personal gain or selfishness. Seeing Balasaheb's intense love for the Marathi language, the Marathi region, and the Marathi people, thousands and lakhs of people joined him, and I am one of them. Therefore, my and my Maharashtra soldiers' faith and love for the words 'Balasaheb' and 'Marathi' will not diminish even a bit.' This is what Raj Thackeray has said.
