(Badlapur MNS) Voting for the municipal elections will take place on January 15, 2026. Counting will be held on January 16, 2026, and the election will be for 2869 seats.

All political parties have started preparing for the municipal elections. Many party entries are being witnessed. Sangeeta Chendavankar, the city president of Badlapur MNS, who was considered very loyal to Raj Thackeray, has joined Ajit Pawar's NCP.

She joined in the presence of Minister Ashish Damle, and her joining Ajit Pawar's NCP is considered a major blow to the MNS party in Badlapur city.
