In Brief
Suicide of a woman doctor at Phaltan Sub-District Hospital in Satara district
Reaction on Phaltan Woman Doctor Case by Sanjay Raut
"The police system and law in Maharashtra have collapsed"
( Sanjay Raut ) The case of a female doctor's suicide at the Phaltan sub-district hospital in Satara district has caused a stir across the state. A shocking aspect has emerged in this incident, as the doctor wrote the names of two individuals responsible for her death on her hand before committing suicide.
Before committing suicide, the deceased doctor wrote a suicide note on her hand, in which she made shocking allegations. In that note, the doctor wrote that "PSI Gopal Badane repeatedly abused and sexually exploited her for five months, and police officer Prashant Bankar mentally harassed her." The female doctor has made serious allegations of sexual abuse and mental harassment against these two individuals.
Against this backdrop, Sanjay Raut has now reacted. Sanjay Raut said, "It has become clear how the police system and law have collapsed in Maharashtra. It is evident how fear regarding the law has vanished and how chaos has spread. Since Devendra Fadnavis took over the Home Department, his focus has not been on the Home Department, law, and order, but entirely on politics. Specifically, on how to plot against the opposition party and how to use the police machinery for that purpose. As a result, we witnessed two incidents yesterday."
"A female doctor at a government hospital in Phaltan committed suicide. She was forced to commit suicide. Those who instigated her to commit suicide are criminals from the police department." said Sanjay Raut.
