(BJP - Shivsena) Voting for the municipal elections will take place on January 15, 2026, and the counting will be on January 16, 2026, with elections for 2869 seats. All parties are preparing for the municipal elections. Against this backdrop, it is observed that nothing is yet decided between Shiv Sena and BJP in Pune.

There are no movements between the Shiv Sena and BJP parties, and no meeting has taken place between Shiv Sena and BJP yet. There is no discussion about which candidate to withdraw from which ward.

AB forms have been given to candidates from Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena for more than 140 seats. However, it is reported that no one has been contacted to withdraw their candidacy yet. Therefore, it will be important to see whether the Pune Municipal Corporation election will be fought in alliance by both parties or independently.
