A significant commotion occurred in Latur during the press conference of Sunil Tatkare, the state president of the Nationalist Congress Party. Activists from the Chhava organization protested by throwing cards, demanding the resignation of Agriculture Minister Manikrao Kokate while the press conference was ongoing. Subsequently, the Nationalist Congress Party activists became aggressive. Suraj Chavan, the state president of the Nationalist Youth Congress, along with his activists, assaulted Vijay Ghatge, the state president of the Chhava organization. A fierce clash occurred between the activists of the All India Chhava Organization and the Nationalist Congress Party.

Against this backdrop, Suraj Chavan has reacted. Suraj Chavan said, "Yesterday, a dispute arose between the office bearers of the Nationalist Congress Party and the Chhava organization in Latur city. Due to the use of some unconstitutional words, the office bearers of the Nationalist Congress Party, including myself, were unable to control their anger at that place."

"Such action was taken from our side because unconstitutional words were used about our leadership at that place. I express regret for that. Soon, I will meet Vijay Ghatge Patil regarding this matter and clear the misunderstandings that have arisen in his mind." he said.
