A suspicious boat was reportedly spotted in the sea near Korlai village in Murud taluka of Raigad district, prompting security agencies to go into high alert mode. Preliminary reports suggest that the vessel may be of Pakistani origin, raising serious concerns about potential security threats.

Following the discovery, the Raigad Police launched a late-night combing operation, accompanied by checkpoints and blockades set up at various strategic locations. There are also unconfirmed reports indicating that several individuals may have disembarked from the boat.

In response to the suspected intrusion, a large-scale deployment of security and intelligence agencies has been activated. Personnel from the Coast Guard, Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad, Customs Department, Local Crime Branch, and the Indian Navy have reached the site and are closely monitoring the situation.

Authorities have announced that a coordinated operation involving multiple agencies will be carried out this morning to thoroughly investigate the incident. As per initial inputs, the suspicious boat is believed to be currently located in the deeper waters off the coast.
