Order from High Court to the Registrar
Under no circumstances can the administrator be given an extension beyond 1 year
Administrator's appointment in Housing Society is now going to be only for one year. Such orders have been given to the Registrar by the High Court.
The registrar should ensure that elections are held as soon as possible and the society's operations are handed over to the office bearers, and that an administrator cannot be appointed to the society for an indefinite period.
Along with this, elections should be held within three months, and the administrator cannot be given an extension of more than one year, as stated by the court. It has also been stated that if this order is not implemented, action will be taken against the registrar.
