The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the results of the Class 12 board examination. This year, 88.39% of students have successfully passed the exam.
A total of 17.88 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 examination, which was conducted between February 15 and April 4, 2025. Combined with Class 10, over 42 lakh students took part in the board exams this year.
Students can access their results through multiple platforms, including the official CBSE websites — cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and results.gov.in. Additionally, results are also available via DigiLocker, the UMANG app, and SMS services.
In keeping with its policy from previous years, CBSE has not released a merit list or declared any toppers. The board has instructed all affiliated schools and institutions not to announce any individual as a "topper" in order to reduce unhealthy academic competition among students.
It is important to note that the mark sheets available online are provisional. The original, official mark sheets will be issued by the respective schools and will be required for all future academic and administrative purposes.
